Switzerland, November 29, 2021 – The Health Finance Coalition is announcing a new partnership agreement with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria . The aim of the collaboration is to mobilize private capital to accelerate the end of the three diseases and the achievement of SDG 3 in Africa, in a financially sustainable manner.

Washington, D.C., November 16, 2021 –  In partnership with the Health Finance Coalition (HFC), GBCHealth, and Amref Health Africa, Wilton Park today hosted the first in a three-part event series of interactive dialogues that aims to mobilize private capital and private enterprise to help achieve and accelerate public health goals for Africa.

There is a near universal drive to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Africa in the next decade, and primary healthcare provides the programmatic engine for achieving this vision. In late 2019, leaders across Africa urged the necessity of attaining UHC.

A new emergency loan guarantee facility makes more than USD$30 million available to private, small- and medium enterprise (SME) health providers in five high malaria burden African countries.
