Martin is the Executive Director of the Health Finance Coalition and Chief Executive Officer of Malaria No More (MNM), where he leads strategies to mobilize global resources from donor governments, DFIs, foundations, and private investors for health innovations and impact in Africa and India. He is a graduate of Harvard University.

COLLEEN CONNELL

Colleen Connell is the Managing Director for the Health Finance Coalition, hosted by Malaria No More. From 2018-2020, Colleen was the Chief Markets Officer, then Sr. Advisor for Business Development and Investments at MedAccess, where she helped design and build an investment pipeline and stand-up the organization. She also worked for more than 11 years with the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Colleen holds a B.S. from Fordham University and an MBA from Yale University.

ALEX HONJIYO
Deputy Director
Health Finance Coalition

Alex is the Deputy Director of the Health Finance Coalition, hosted by Malaria No More. Prior to joining MNM, he helped launch the social impact bond team at the Inter-American Development Bank. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgetown University.

SWATHI RAO, CFA
Senior Manager
Health Finance Coalition

Swathi has executed private market transactions in a variety of sectors, a wide array of financial instruments, and completed to/on behalf of both trade and institutional investors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, is a CFA Charter holder, a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Ronald is a Senior Associate at the Health Finance Coalition. Prior to joining the Health Finance Coalition, he was an investment analyst at Kibo Capital Partners, an Africa – focused Private Equity Fund. He began his career in impact investing at AHL Venture Partners. Ronald holds a B.S in Financial Economics from Strathmore University.

Stephanie is a Senior Associate, Climate Health Incubator. Prior to joining the Health Finance Coalition, she was a Project Leader at Open Capital Advisors, an Africa-based management consulting and financial advisory firm. Stephanie started her career in investment and economic analysis. She got her MSc. Finance, Investment and Risk from the University of Kent and her Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University.

Amb. Simon is a Founder and Managing Partner of Total Impact Capital, an impact investing firm and served as Vice Chair of the Global Fund. Previously, Amb. Simon held several posts in the U.S. federal government, including U.S. Ambassador to the African Union and the Executive Vice President of OPIC. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Master’s Degree from Harvard University.

In this role, he supports a range of CEOs and entrepreneurs to rapidly grow their organizations. Sabot earlier served as the Exec. Vice President for Global Programs at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).

DR. WILMOT ALLEN

Wilmot has over 20 years of experience in deal construction as a private equity and VC investor, M&A and IPO and Private Placements investment banker, and transaction advisor. He is a former consultant to the Africa CDC and has experience in genomics, drug discovery and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Wilmot has degrees from Georgetown, Wharton and Harvard.
